AKANE BEST GIRL. Her and Kogami's bond is really something. It's not that of friendship in the traditional sense and it's not romance but something beyond. They hold each other in high regard despite their differing beliefs and characters and have a deep understanding of the other's proclivities. To be able to connect on such a level in such a short time is very cool stuff.
